In Him...

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”

Ephesians 1:7

I’ve been studying the book of Ephesians for the past week. I cannot even begin to tell you the life changing revelations He gives us when we are IN His Word the way we should. His Word brings us closer to Him, into an intimate and loving relationship with Him. 

 Oh how sweet His Word is.

We as believers have been released from the bondage of sin. I don’t know about you, but this is such a beautiful aspect for my life. The sin that filled my life before His freedom held me captive in a dark and dreary world. But, through the priceless payment of His blood I have been set free. Christ’s substitutionary death satisfied the justice that God should set forth because of our disobedience. Through the forgiveness of sins, our relationship with God is restored and sin no longer is a barrier between us and God.

His grace is freely given to those that live within Him. 

In Him is the only place to live. In Him is the only place freedom can exist because outside of Him we are completely unworthy, filled with wretched sin.

But, the beauty—we can be free of that unworthiness. We can be blameless, spotless, and completely free of the bondage of sin when we truly decide that In Him is where we long to be.

That is my desire—to be in Him all the days of my life, and I pray that the same is true for each of you as well!
